1.3. “I”, “me” and “my” refers to Risma Viljoen. “You” and “your” refers to any user who accesses or browses the website, or makes use of services or products offered on the website.
1.4. My business is operated from the Republic of South Africa. Your personal information shall be governed in accordance with the privacy laws of South Africa and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1.6. Risma Viljoen assumes the responsibility of Information Officer. Any questions or concerns about the collection, storing, processing or sharing of your personal information can be directed to me via email info@rismaviljoen.com or via the contact form on this website.

2.2(a) You submit a contact form on the website – your information is used to respond to your enquiry.
2.2(b) You subscribe to my newsletter – your information is used to add to my mailing list and send communications.
2.2(c) You buy services or products advertised on the website – your information is collected for billing purposes and to render the services to you.

3.1. You may request the removal of your stored personal information at any time by contacting me via info@rismaviljoen.com. Upon your request I will erase your stored personal information, except where I am legally obliged or entitled to retain such information.
3.2. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the opt-out/unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe you will no longer receive communications, however your personal information may still be stored on the mailing list with an unsubscribe date and time stamp. If you would like your information to be permanently removed from the mailing list please contact me via info@rismaviljoen.com.
4.1. I will not sell your personal information.
4.2. I will not share your personal information with third parties, except:
4.2(a) where I have partnered with third parties to deliver products/services or where I make use of third party service providers to perform a service on my behalf;
4.2(b) in order to comply with any applicable law, legal processes or for any criminal investigations where I am required to do so.

Your personal information collected, stored or processed by third party suppliers are governed by their own Privacy Policies.

5.2 By accessing the site or submitting personal information on the site, you consent to the transfer, storage and processing of personal or anonymous information in a foreign country where protection of personal information laws may be less stringent than in your country.
5.3. I make use of third party service providers and/or technology platforms located in South Africa, the United States, Ireland and Denmark, where cross-border transfer of your data may take place.
6.1. All reasonable measures are taken to maintain the safety and security of your personal information. However it is not possible to guarantee that your personal information is completely safe from cyber security risks or unauthorised access. You share your personal information at your own risk.
6.2. I will promptly notify you if I become aware of any unauthorised access, use or disclosure of your personal information.
6.3. To ensure secure payment, when completing a payment transaction on this site you will be re-directed to PayFast, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor based in South Africa.
7.1 You have the right to make a complaint to the South African Data Regulator at any time. I would however appreciate the opportunity to resolve any complaints as your first point of call. Complaints can be directed via email to info@rismaviljoen.com.
